Wedding Bells are set to ring for Stacy and Rico in my coming book, out in under two weeks now and available for preorder around January 15th. Have a look at the lovely cover image, designed as usual for this series by James at Go On Write – thank you so much, James. I particularly like the little pair of bells under the main image.

Here’s the blurb:
When wedding plans get complicated...
A wedding… that’s a happy time with love and laughter and catching up with old friends – isn’t it? But Stacy has problems she didn’t anticipate when it comes to organising this one.
The mother of the bride has been watching too many old films, something is troubling the bridesmaid, and above all, a mysterious guest called MJ is about to descend on the hotel – but Stacy and Rico have no idea who it is. And that’s before the emergency services of two countries start getting involved…
And even when the honeymoon starts in the lovely Bernese Oberland, it isn’t long before blue lights and sirens have Stacy’s pulse racing again. Surely wedding bells have never been this complicated?
I was able to draw on some personal memories when I wrote this book, because Stacy and Rico were married in my old workplace in Arbon Castle. We often looked out over the castle courtyard to see a bridal pair approaching the registry office in another part of the building, and quite a lot of them held a similar kind of aperitif after their wedding – in summer, naturally. A medieval castle with a view across to the Alpstein range and down to the lake – you don’t get much better than that.
And – spoiler alert – Stacy and Rico may not be the only couple involved in a happy event at the Lakeside Hotel…
I’ll be sharing some photos of the surroundings in the coming weeks, but for the moment, here’s a very similar view. (And for bargain hunters, Problems at the Lakeside Hotel is 99p in a UK Kindle Monthly Deal all January.)
