I’m not sure if my plants are doing much better than they were in August when I last blogged about them, but some are at least looking different…
But we’ll start with the cut-price book – it’s The Runaway this time, on a 99p deal for the next week, in the UK, Canada and Australia.
Back to the plants, and the good news first. I brought my Christmas cacti inside last week, and they’re all in bud, especially the large one.

The grasses on the balcony have survived and one of the newbies has grown, but the “Königskerze” beside the largest grass didn’t shoot up as it was supposed to – I suspect it doesn’t have enough root space in that little tub.

Back inside, one very tall skinny plant (if anyone knows what it is, do let me know) has produced a baby. Now I’m wondering if I should leave them both to grow, cut the baby off and replant it, or get rid of the tall lanky parent (the least preferred option).

Everything else is jogging along, though the cut-offs from my Swiss Cheese plant aren’t doing a lot. They are still alive, though, and so is the avocado plant beside them, which has to be a win of a kind.

To be continued…
And don’t forget the bargain book: See purchase details here.

Happy reading!
