Book Bargain #99p/c and a gorgeous chalet pic #travel

Christmas at the Lakeside Hotel is out now and a bargain at 99p or equivalent – this won’t last long, so grab it while it’s hot! Meanwhile, book 1 in the series, Saving the Lakeside Hotel is in Amazon Prime Reading in the UK at the moment, so if you have Prime, you can download it for free. One thing you need when releasing a book, whether you self-publish or go with a traditional, indie or digital publisher, is promo images to use on social media. I was scrolling around in Pixabay yesterday, searching for something Christmassy and Swiss, when I came across the photo below. I don’t know where it is, exactly, but these large wooden chalets are just as I’ve described the Lakeside Hotel in my books. So now you know. And imagine these chalets in summer, with red and white geraniums cascading from window boxes on the balconies… Or in winter, with lovely twinkly fairy lights and stars, like the hotel has in the latest book.

I probably won’t use this image in a promo pic – a pity to cover up the chalets – but here’s one I made earlier with all four books on a snowy winter scene.
