Life is going to be busy here in N.E. Switzerland, as far as my books are concerned. For various (unconnected) reasons, five of my books will be on at a bargain price at different times over the next few weeks, and some are getting new cover images too. I’ve been thinking a lot about dogs over the past few months. My new Melinda Huber series, which will be published next year by Vinci Books, has more dog characters than human ones. I’ve had huge fun finding names for them all. Main dog characters in book one are LouLou, Jasper, Pongo (guess what breed he is), Suki, Ginger… and of course writing about dogs reminded me of our own long-gone but still missed Shiva. She was a border collie mix and an absolute cookie. The blog posts about her are gone now too, but I’ll be serialising them again at the start of next year.
She was about a year old in the photo above. That was shortly before we were forced to replace the carpet in the living room… More about Shiva in a few weeks’ time!
