Not quite a new book, but definitely the next best thing – I’m delighted that DP Books, the UK arm of a large German digital publisher, will be re-releasing three of my older suspense novels over the next few weeks. First up is The Attic Room, originally published in 2015. The pre-order is running already, so if you’re looking for a 99p/c bargain, look no further and grab it while it’s hot. In the story, Nina discovers that a man called John Moore has bequeathed her a house. But who is he? She travels from her home on the Isle of Arran to Bedford, where she learns there are huge secrets within her family, and no one is left to tell her the truth. Or maybe not quite no one…
Most of the action takes place in and around Bedford, where I’ve visited friends many times. There are also a few chapters on Arran and in Edinburgh, both of which I know well too, so The Attic Room is a bit of a nostalgia trip for me.
The ebook will be published at the end of the month, and meantime, the paperback is available as usual. I’m excited to see my book – my third originally, but the first I self-published – with a lovely new cover image and a new team behind it.
