We’re getting beautiful spring weather here in N.E. Switzerland – it’s lovely to be able to get out and about without packing woolly hats and gloves and scarves. Last week, a friend and I went to the Würth Haus in Rorschach, where the new exhibition is ‘Sport and Free Time’. The exhibits were many and varied, but I was interested to see some posters of the Munich Olympics – and the swimsuit-clad figure in the entrance was fun, too. (Tap the pics to see the full versions.) I’m not sure what the jelly bean things are on the wall, but they were very pretty.

That day was a bise wind day, when the lake presents itself in colourful stripes depending on the water depth.

My book news this month is that the DP Books edition of Saving the Lakeside Hotel is now available, and Return to the Lakeside Hotel is on pre-order at just 99p – grab it while it’s hot! (link below)

Stacy and Emily do quite a bit of travelling around this area in the books – to the magnificent Rhine Falls, for one thing…

…and across the lake to Friedrichshafen in Germany. It’s a very photogenic trip I’ve made too many times to count. Note the Zeppelin in the first pic:

I took this very blurry photo on the ferry on the way home – I love the colours:

If you want to do some more armchair travelling around Switzerland and Lake Constance, just download the Lakeside Hotel books… Next time, I should be able to share the new cover to Problems at the Lakeside Hotel – I can’t wait to see it!
