I’d like to thank those who helped me during the writing process – writing a book is truly a team effort, and I’m grateful to Debi Alper for her insightful structural edit, Helen Pryke for further editing/proofreading, to Mandy James, Clare Chase, Rachael Sargeant and Maureen Myant for reading early versions, and to Debbie Bright at The Cover Collection for the amazing cover image and also for her patience. The cover on the book today isn’t the one I imagined at the start… It took a few questions (from me) and tweaks and answers (from Debbie) before I realised I needed something else entirely and it was back to square one.
