New book! #comingsoon #books

It’s been a while. My last brand new suspense thriller came out in December 2022, and since then, a combination of working on feel-good projects and re-releases has kept me pretty occupied. But now, at last, suspense number thirteen is ready to go, and here it is: Missing, Rose Malone. The kindle version will be out in less than two weeks, and the paperback will follow very shortly afterwards.

Huge thanks as usual to Debbie Bright at The Cover Collection for the amazing cover art.

Community carer Rose is missing. Gone, vanished without trace, leaving no word behind. Rose’s friends are worried sick, but their nightmare is only beginning. Because Rose has a secret…

I did a lot of research into missing people in the UK while I was writing this one, and what struck me most (apart from the horrific number of young people who vanish from their families every year), was that “missing” means so many different things.

Some people go missing because they want to – and if they’re adults, they’re allowed to do that.
Some go missing to avoid conflict, debt etc in their lives.
Some are taken, and this happens to children and adults alike.
Some come back, some are brought back.
Some never return.
And some aren’t missing at all…

What happened to Rose Malone? But no spoilers here…
Next week, I’ll have some more news about Rose, along with the blurb and a few of those “missing” statistics – see you then!
