The wood behind my flat has seen big changes in the past couple of weeks. I didn’t include a woodland photo last week as we had so many lovely Yorkshire pics in Helen Pollard’s guest post, but we’ll have a look now. Here’s the photo from November 7th, a lovely sunny day:
Today, snowflakes are drifting down through the trees – lovely! (Lovely to look at, that is. I’m not a big fan of being out in snowy weather unless sunshine, mountain restaurants and mulled wine are involved too…)
Book Four is back from Julia the proofreader now. It’s always depressing to see how many typos slip through even when you check it yourself several dozen times – but that’s exactly why we need proofreaders!
The next stage is the cover, which means I have to make the final decision about the title, and I have two contenders here. One is on the ms and I probably will go with this one, but there’s another idea I like almost as much…
The cover image is amazing, and I’m really looking forward to working with the designer to perfect it for my book. All will be revealed in a few weeks.
Meanwhile, here’s a preview of next week’s post:
